I've done a significant amount of work in the realm of graphic design. At my current job I am the lead desktop publisher, tasked with interior book template design and print publication layout. I've also dabbled a bit in brand scheme and logo design, digital illustration, and marketing email design. Please see my work samples below.
As the moderator of the Raiders' Digest at Archbishop Rummel High School, I could choose between laying out the school newspaper myself or allowing the printing company to do it for me. The previous moderator simply sent the stories and photos to the printing company, and a member of the company's staff completed the layout. After seeing the previous design, I knew I needed to give it an overhaul. It was extra work on my part, but I am pleased with my redesign. Please view the before and after images below.
Here are two projects I completed for my graduate school digital design class. The first is a travel guide for tourists looking to visit New Zealand, and the second is a Cajun cookbook.
Here are two book templates that I created from scratch for my current employer, MasteryPrep. The first is a book called Decoding The ACT, which is a teacher's guide for teaching ACT prep courses. The second book is called The College Playbook, and it is a guide for high school students who are going through the college admissions process.
Here are two pieces of design work that I completed on a pro bono basis. The first is a promotional flyer for my friend's music lessons business. The second is a promotional flyer for a fundraiser for a local nonprofit organization, Grow Dat Youth Farm.
